Cannabis cultivation is now a major problem in our communities and can cause significant damage, not only to the premises they are set up within but to neighbouring premises as well. Cannabis is the most widely used illicit drug in Scotland and the UK.
Lothian and Borders Police are holding three seminars on cananbis cultivation awareness on 19th, 26th February 2010 and 5th March 2010. The conferences will be within the main council chambers, City Chambers, High Street, Edinburgh from 0930-1300 hrs. A buffet lunch will be provided following the events.
The sessions are aimed at landlords, letting agencies and managers/supervisors from the business sector, local council front-end services and postal agencies.
Spaces at the Conferences will be limited therefore early booking is essential. Please contact the following officers
