Happy tenant

Accredited landlords and letting agents agree to work to ELA’s Code of Standards. Landlords have to commit to:

  • Communicating effectively with their tenants and neighbours and resolving disputes speedily
  • Providing safe, secure, good quality accommodation
  • Carrying out maintenance and repairs quickly and to their customers satisfaction
  • Providing furnishings and appliances that are safe and well maintained
  • Providing all their customers with clear tenancy agreements and meet all their legal obligations.
