Code of Standards

Accredited landlords and letting agents agree to work to ELA’s Code of Standards. Landlords have to commit to:

Communicating effectively with their tenants and neighbours and resolving disputes speedily
Providing safe, secure, good quality accommodation
Carrying out maintenance and repairs quickly and to their customers satisfaction
Providing furnishings and appliances that are safe and well maintained
Providing all their customers with clear tenancy agreements and meet all their legal obligations.
